EMFACE® is the only non-invasive procedure that treats the key causes of a double chin: loose muscle, fat and saggy skin.
The key causes of double chin: weakening of the digastric muscles (underneath the chin), fat accumulation and skin aging.
The EMFACE® technology selectively tones the digastric muscles, and simultaneously destroys fat cells in the submentum (under chin), while promoting collagen production. Thus, resulting in a tighter and more contoured appearance.
EMFACE® Submentum works by utilizing HIFES® to tone the digastric muscles that are usually difficult to stimulate. At the same time, it is combined with Sync RF+ (synchronized radiofrequency) at an optimum temperature of 43 to 45°C to cause fat cells beneath the chin to break down, and to stimulate collagen production.

EMFACE® is the original non-invasive facial lifting treatment that tones facial muscles and tightens skin simultaneously in a 20-minute session. EMFACE® utilizes the simultaneous application of Synchronized RF and HIFES® technologies to lift every layer from muscle to skin, restoring the foundation of facial layers. This results in a facial lift from the deepest layer – the muscle, above the bone, naturally and without needles.
HIFES® (High Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation)
Selectively targets the elevator “lifting” facial muscles in the forehead, under-eye area, cheeks, corners of the mouth and under the chin.
Sync RF (Synchronized Radiofrequency)
Sync RF and HIFES® work simultaneously during treatment to achieve optimum results, powered by the built-in Smart Technology that allows both to be delivered at the same time rather than individually.
When Sync RF and HIFES® work simultaneously, their energies are delivered uniformly at therapeutic temperatures throughout muscle and skin layers, which is essential for boosting collagen and elastin fiber production.
EMFACE® applicators are intended to be applied over the forehead, under-eye area, cheeks and submentum (under-chin). The effects of EMFACE® are visible in overall facial lifting, 3D contouring, eyebag reduction, and wrinkle reduction.
EMFACE® is a 20-minute treatment, completely non-invasive and pain-free, and does not require anaesthesia or numbing cream.
There is no downtime. Generally, the majority are able to apply makeup, go for a workout or return to work after treatment. Only a small population may experience momentary redness and/or swelling.
For optimal results, we recommend four to six 20-minute sessions. Each session is recommended to be scheduled one week apart. Additional sessions can be added if desired or if recommended by your Aesthetics Provider to customize the treatment for the best results. Results may vary based on skin condition and age. Your Aesthetics Provider will be able to create a personalized treatment plan to meet your needs.
Tangible results can be seen right after the treatments. Results will continue to improve and optimal results are usually seen three months after the last session. EMFACE® results can last from six months and up to one year, and maintenance treatment is recommended every six months to a year. Results may vary for individuals, depending on skin condition and age of the individual. Consult your Aesthetics Provider for a personalized treatment plan.
Anyone looking to address or prevent common facial ageing concerns such as sagging cheeks, a diminished jawline, a double chin, drooping eyebrows or eyelids and eyebags, may be a candidate for EMFACE®. However, as with any aesthetics procedure, EMFACE® may not be suitable for everyone. A consultation with your aesthetics provider is recommended to determine if the treatment is right for you.
